Broadmoor Harvest Festival, Presented by Moishe NOLA
The Broadmoor Harvest Festival, October 12- 19, will celebrate the holiday of Sukkot with a week of events meant to inspire community engagement and collective celebration of life in New Orleans.

Sunday, October 12th - Sukkah Build & Arts Collaborative
Location: Rosa Keller Library Grounds
Time: 10:00am-5:00pm
Build and decorate the Sukkah that will grace the Rosa Keller Library lawn during this weeklong festival. Additionally, several local artists will be on hand and contributing to the creative design of the structure.
Art created at the event will be donated to the rebuilt Rosa Keller Library.

Wednesday, October 15th - Documentary, Shalom Y'all
Location: Rosa Keller Library Grounds
Rain Location: Vail Hall, Annunciation Church
Time: 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Brian Bain will be showing Shalom Y'all, a documentary about the Jewish experience in the American South, followed by discussion with the filmmaker.

Friday, October 17th - Sukkah Shabbat Potluck (vegetarian)
Location: Rosa Keller Library Grounds
Time: 7:00pm-11:00pm
Moishe House will host Shabbat dinner in the Sukkah. Please bring a dish or beverage to share. We ask that all dishes be vegetarian- no meat, chicken, or fish.

Sunday, October 19th - Service Project,
Broadmoor Home-Rebuild
Location: Departing from Annunciation Church
Time: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Our friends at the Free Church of the Annunciation will be providing volunteers with a free hot breakfast at 9:00am, and we will start work on the home promptly at 9:30am. All materials, tools, gloves, and eye protection will be provided. Work will wrap up in the early afternoon and lead into a community BBQ with Live Local Music.

Location: Rosa Keller Library Grounds
Time: 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Neighborhood BBQ festivities will include food, music, arts, and remarks by local leaders of the Jewish and Broadmoor communities.
